Sessions


In your free phone consultation we will briefly discuss what prompted you to reach out. We'll schedule a time to meet if we feel I'm the appropriate therapist for your needs at this time. In our first meeting we'll just talk, see where it goes and what you would like to work on.                                    

Fee

Rates are discussed in our first session. Each session is 50 minutes. I accept checks, credit card or cash and can provide a receipt for services. Some sliding-scale fees are available, depending on financial needs. Payment is due at the end of the session.

Insurance

I provide out-of-network services through your health insurance. An invoice for services is available, which may be submitted for reimbursement depending on your plan. I'll also assist in determining what your out-of-network benefits are in order to be reimbursed by your insurance.

Cancellation Policy

I request 48-business-hours notice for any cancellations. 100% of your regular fee will be billed for missed/cancelled/rescheduled appointments not given 48-hour notice. 

Confidentiality

The law protects the relationship between a client and a therapist. Information cannot be disclosed without written permission by the client. 

*Exceptions include:

  • Suspected past or present abuse or neglect of children, adults, and elders to be reported to the authorities, including Child Protection and law enforcement, based on information provided by the client or collateral sources.
  • If the therapist has reason to suspect the client is seriously in danger of harming him/herself or has threatened to harm another person.
